‘Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live’
Taking care of your body doesn’t mean that you need to deprive it of any food group or just amping up your cardio and turning down your favourite foods.
Simple changes in lifestyle may actually help you achieve your health goals. After I delivered my elder son, I realized that I needed to shed a lot of pounds that I gained due to my pregnancy demand.
I couldn’t exercise post-delivery due to my post-surgical wound healing complications and also I didn’t pay much attention in my calorie intake and was so generous in taking an unbalanced diet to meet out my child feeding requirements which overall caused an increase in my body fat and weight. By the time I realized that changes had to be made in my eating style the tell tales of this started to reflect in my overall health status affecting the quality of my lifestyle. From there my challenges in health started that I was battling to overcome until this point in my life.
The various health issues which I was suffering were low stamina, high triglycerides and cholesterol levels, inability to climb stairs up and down comfortably, vitamin B12 and D deficiency. Additional to this came up some worsening factors that were terrible heel pain which I thought was due to vitamin D deficiency but recently diagnosed as plantar fasciitis in my right foot and ligament tear in my left ankles due to a slip. These things further challenged my routine physical activities to keep up my body weight in control. Forget about the physical exercise, I was not even able to do my daily routine care to my family which caused a lot of mental agony.
There was a point in my life when I desperately wanted to get back to my pre-partum weight and stamina but was totally stuck without knowing what to do to get back those. I am someone who believes in proper eating and was used to one hence was not convinced to reduce my food quantity in order to keep up my body weight as I thought it would affect my stamina badly.
In the meanwhile, as suggested by some of my good friends I had my hands in power yoga and kick boxing as well and nothing worked out. It appeared that I am getting back to my shape and energy but very soon made me feel that they are not sustained. Those kind of trainings intended to make you lose weight by making you sweat a lot by vigorous physical work outs and also by restricting your eating quantities and at times will advise you to starve. This further worsened my stamina and those vigorous physical trainings had become my worst nightmares.
Its now for past two months that I started with Navitae and I am finding it to be more comfortable and confident to follow as they don’t generalize the plans but rather customises it suiting the individual persons need. Following the physical training and meal plans targeting my personal health issues are found to be much beneficial in resolving the health issues especially my heel pain which actually made me to rest every one hour during my daily chores has changes now.
I am all relieved now as I’m comfortably working with a good stamina. All thanks to Navitae for its abled guidance to get me in right track. I was struggling to reduce even 500gms,now I reduced totally around 4.8kgs and 5.5 inches from my waistline. Though I reduced around 1 kg from starter kit,I benefitted a lot from accelerator kit.
