It is very common for women to miss periods during their reproductive years. Some miss due to natural reasons – Pregnancy and Menopause. Some miss due to medical reasons – hyper thyroidism, PCOS, birth control pills etc. In some irregularity is due to lifestyle related reasons.

Everybody’s intensity threshold is different. Hence it is important to get an exercise plan designed by a qualified trainer.

Remedy #2: Reduce stress: Stress interferes with the functioning of the brain that controls the hormones that regulate our cycle. So if the stress levels are high, work on reducing stress. Few ways of reducing stress is exercising and sleeping 7-8 hours per day.

Remedy #3: Lose weight gradually and healthily: Crash diets which are low in carbohydrates and low in calories lead women to miss their periods. Approach weight loss in systematic and healthful fashion. Diets like Keto due to low carbohydrate can cause missed periods.There are many anecdotal stories of women who have experienced changes to their menstrual cycles after starting intermittent fasting.
